Quiet Day

Continuing a tradition we came to enjoy last year in Copenhagen, the environmental non-profit group Climate Action Network has been staging a daily "Fossil of the Day Award" where they give booby prizes away to countries that are seen as acting irresponsibly in their emissions or in the ongoing negotiations.  Today though, was the first time that I have seen them decline to give a prize.  While all the negotiating parties are hidden away in private consultations in the various groups and committees they are part of, everyone was left to speculate on the lack of information leaking out and whether that was a positive sign or an indication of stagnation.
